Butla
the cow lives with Piotr Romanowski, the president of the
'Republic of Reka Dzielo' on about 10ha of grazing land.
Butla grew up with the dogs who always join us when Butla
is milked.
Starting
at 9am Oliver will introduce
you to Butla the cow. Butla is milked twice a day at about
8am and 8pm. You will be one of a group of three on the
workshop learning to milk Butla and then using your milk
to make cheese at the end of the day. The day after you
have made the basic cheese you can either take it to eat
or leave it for smoking and collect it later.
